Should wedding couples wish to experience the ultimate in luxury they may wish to book, at an additional change, one of Brown's Hotel's two Royal Suites:
The Kipling Suite (size: 87 sqm)
This room is part of the original suite occupied by the poet, essayist and novelist Rudyard Kipling. Kipling was a great traveller and frequent resident at Brown's between 1892 and his death in 1936 and it is from here that he wrote 'The Jungle Book'. He is said to have found the hotel's atmosphere conducive to his creativity, and much of his writing was done within these walls.
The Hellenic Suite (size: 101 sqm)
This room is named in honour of King George II of the Hellenes, the Hotel's longest royal resident. King George left Greece in 1924 after the establishment of a republic and remained in exile until 1935, when the monarchy was restored in Greece. During these years, Brown's became the official court of the Greek Royal family.
